The watch is clean and the case without significant defects -- the dark spots are signs of age and oxidations on the gold and could be rubbed-off if wanted. We prefer it authentic and like that and leave this to the new owner. Serviced and working precise & fine in every aspect. Setting instructions -- Timesetting: 1. Press in the upper button 2. Pull out the crown 3. Set the time 4. Push in the crown back in. Winding: 1. Press in the upper button 2. Wind the watch. Alarmsetting: 1. Press in the lower button 2. Set desired alarm time using the crown 3. Push the upper button until both buttons are in the middle position. Disengaging alarm: Press in lower button. Winding alarm: Wind the watch normally. The literature knows: - Leonhard Beitl notes: "This Cyma model is certainly something special and would be the dream of any collector. While the normal Cyma alarm wristwatch is a rarity in itself, this gold model with its distinctive, open-work lugs and chronometer function is even more a treasure to covet." ("Alarm am Arm", by Leonhard Beitl, Vienna 2009, p. 134ff.) - Michael Philip Horlbeck notes: "The cal464 is among the sweetest-sounding alarms ever produced. Moreover, what makes this particular Time-O-Vox rare is its original 14kt gold case [notabene, we offer the even rare 18kt-variant] with stylish elongated U-shaped lugs, very few of these are out there!" ("The Alarm Wristwatch : The History of an Undervalued Feature", Michael Philip Horlbeck)
