Now, in a far more exclusive run of 820 pieces, the Casquette 2.0 reinterprets this legendary design with modern materials and enhanced technology. The 42.4mm x 33.6mm case, now crafted from black ceramic and Grade 5 titanium, offers superior scratch resistance and a balanced, lightweight feel, making it durable yet refined. The curved case design, originally intended to allow timekeeping without taking a hand off the steering wheel, remains true to its motorsport-inspired roots. A red LED display, housed within the case, shows time only when activated, preserving energy efficiency and visual sleekness. The ceramic bracelet with a rubber underside ensures a remarkably flexible and comfortable fit. Inside, the GP3980-1474 quartz movement powers an impressive set of complications, including hours, minutes, seconds, day, date, month, year, chronograph, second time zone, and a “secret date” function—a customizable feature allowing the wearer to store and display a special date on command.
