The number 1688 which is located under the inscription "MAJETEK VOJENSKE SPRAVY" on the back of the watch case means that it was a watch with the registration number 1688 and that this pilot's watch was the property of the Czechoslovak air force. The inscription on the back of the watch "MAJETEK VOJENSKE SPRAVY" does not mean the name of the model as some sellers of these watches believe and call their watches "MAJETEK". This means translated from Czech to English that the watch with this inscription was the property of the Czechoslovak military air force with the registration number 1680. The difference between these watches that have this inscription and those that do not have this inscription engraved on the back of the watch is that the watches that do not have that inscription engraved on the back of the watch were intended for free sale to all customers. Watches with this engraving are Longines pilot watches which were produced for pilot use and belonged to the respective Czechoslovak military unit and are therefore more valuable to collectors. Other well-known Swiss watch brands that collaborated with the Czechoslovak air force at that time, in addition to Longines are Eterna and Lemania. The watch is in good vintage condition as seen in the photos entirely functional and are checked by a watchmaker. The price of the watch does not include shipping fee.
