The crystal is in plexiglass and in an excellent condition. Its original dial has developed an even and attractive patina, shifting from its original silver tone to a bronze / yellowed hue. The Arabic numerals are painted in radium-based luminous material, typical of the era, and are perfectly preserved. The subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock is sharply printed, and the dial layout is intact, with no blemishes to the printing or hands. Powering the watch is the Longines caliber 9.47N, a manual-winding rectangular movement produced during the 1920s and early 1930s. Known for its compact form and stable performance, the 9.47N was a popular choice for shaped wristwatches of the period. Based on the serial number, this watch dates to the year 1925.
