The 216570, which replaced the Reference 16570 after its 22 year production run, enlarged the case to 42 mm in diameter. The dual time hand indicating a second time zone was changed from red to orange, and housed a 3187 caliber automatic movement. The lume on the dial for the 216570 also was updated to use Chromalight material that illuminates a blue glow. The reference was in production for 10 years before it was replaced with the 226570, which is still in the Rolex lineup to this day.
