Rolex Oyster 6083

Rolex Oyster Shock-Resisting stainless steel and gold gentleman's wristwatch, reference no. 6083, serial no. 782xxx, circa 1952, yellow metal engine turned bezel, silvered dial with Arabic quarter numerals, minute markers and centre seconds, cal. 700 manual wind signed 15 jewel movement, later case back stamped 6480 and dated 'III.56', modern brown leather strap, 34mm, Box and Papers - no box or papers. Movement - currently functioning. Dial - surface marks present as expected for the period - see images. Glass - light marks. Hands - good. Case - the case back is associated as mentioned, typical wear and light surface marks - see images for guidance. Crown - Rolex crown adjusting correctly. Strap - modern non Rolex strap with some wear.
