However, we had to wait until 2013 for the Oystersteel ref. 116680 to finally debut. This model replaced the previous caliber 4160 with the caliber 4161 and, initially, had a full set of blued square hour markers and matching blued hands.  In 2017, Rolex updated the ref. 116680 to sport the dial you see here.  Now, an inverted triangle serves as the 12-hour marker, and the 6-hour marker features a taller rectangular-shaped hour marker.  Furthermore, the blued straight hands have been swapped out for the classic Rolex Mercedes hour hand. Rolex discontinued the Yacht-Master II back in 2024. However, you can still add the widely sought-after stainless steel ref. 116680 to your collection with the newer, post-2017 Mercedes dial.
