Outer: two-body, pierced, chased and engraved with foliate scrolls; Inner: two-body, polished bezel, pierced, chased and engraved with foliate scrolls and a grotesque mask. Gilt brass dust cover. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer dot minute markers and Arabic five-minute numerals. Blued steel ?beetle and poker? hands. M. 30 mm., gilt brass full-plate, tapered cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, three-arm steel balance, pierced and engraved balance cock, diamond endstone, silvered regulation dial, repeating with two hammers on a bell in the back of the case activated by depressing the pendant, stop lever in the bezel. Movement and dust cap signed. Diam. 50 mm.
