It features a case back engraving with the name of the original owner, who is a fascinating individual. Edwin Unrein served in the U.S. Navy submarine service during WWII and was aboard USS Saury (SS189) in Manilla Harbor when it was bombed December 7, 1941. He formed the Colorado Mile Hi Chapter of U.S. Submarine Veterans WWII in 1957 holding many local and regional offices and was also a member of American Legion, Gilbert, AZ, and Veterans of Foreign Wars John Stewart Post #1. Edward was a shop superintendent for Power Engineering Company and retired from the company in 1986. He received this amazing watch after 20 years with the company.
