BRAZIER, London Middle 18th century Double-cased gold watch with repoussé decoration Case: round on hinge, smooth inner case (wear), outer case with repoussé decoration depicting a mythological scene, probably the figure of Venus and Adonis Dial: silvered with Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes, stylized external railway minute track, date aperture (minute hand missing) Movement: mechanical with key winding, verge escapement, spiral balance with chased and pierced continental-type cock with two pillars, spindle and chain, advance and delay setting disc, signature on plate Diameter: 50 mm Gross weight: 97.5 g Condition report given as an indication: Sold as is, traces of wear and tear on the whole, inner case with dents, movement does not work, plan a complete overhaul and refurbishing, no guarantee of functioning
