A second half of the 19th century Swiss key-wound silver fancy fob watch on a Victorian silver watch and chatelaine, F.W. Turton Ltd, Birmingham, 1899 The watch unsigned, the case stamped .935, LF 106878, the fully engraved case with vacant shield-shaped cartouche to the rear cover, the white enamel dial with Arabic numerals relieved with silver and gold scrollwork within an eight-sided mask, the gilt bar movement with gold balance to a cylinder escapement under a .935 silver cuvette with hand-setting and winding apertures, 34mm diameter, the chatelaine also with winged lion clip, pierced chains and two rotating pencils. (total weight 87g)
